Our dance drop-in program allows students/clients to take a dance class without any commitments! Students/Clients may take any dance classes they choose in their age/level groupings at any time! We offer beginner through advanced levels in many genres for ages 2 and over. ALL dance drop-ins are included in our single drop-in, 5/10 Movement Class Pass, Monthly, Bi-Annual, & Annual pricing options.

Please understand that the above level placement criteria is an approximate estimation of training required for our levels. Pease use your own judgement. Instructors will evaluate students/clients in their first class. If we feel a different class placement would be more beneficial, we will contact you with other class options. Thank you!
SPECIAL CLASS REQUIREMENTS
CONTEMPORARY – Must be at least 12 years of age and have at least 2-3 years of ballet training.
INTRODUCTION TO MODERN & CONTEMPORARY DANCE - Must be at least 9 years of age and have at least 1-2 years of ballet training.
LYRICAL – Must be at least 9 years of age and have at least 1-2 years of ballet training.
MODERN DANCE TECHNIQUE – Must be at least 12 years of age and have at least 2-3 years of ballet training.
CONTEMPORARY FUSION - Must be at least 12 years of age and have at least 2-3 years of contemporary training as well as 1-2 years of ballet and/or jazz training.
JAZZ FUSION – Must be at least 12 years of age and have at least 2-3 years of jazz training as well as 1-2 years of ballet training.
Proper attire and footwear must be worn for each class. Below is a list of appropriate dance apparel for each genre.
BALLET: solid colored leotard, pink or black tights, pink canvas ballet shoes, wrap-skirt (optional), hair in a SECURED bun
MODERN: solid colored leotard, unitard, biketard, leggings, crop top/sports bra, black tights (optional), barefoot, hair in a SECURED bun
TAP: Form fitting dance attire, black tap shoes
JAZZ & JAZZ FUSION: solid or printed leotard, unitard, biketard, leggings, crop top/sports bra, booty shorts, tights (optional), jazz shoes (optional), hair pulled back
CONTEMPORARY & CONTEMPORARY FUSION: solid or printed leotard, unitard, biketard, leggings, crop top/sports bra, booty shorts, tights (optional), no shoes, hair pulled back
LYRICAL: solid or printed leotard, unitard, biketard, leggings, crop top/sports bra, booty shorts, tights (optional), skirt (optional), canvas lyrical shoes (optional), hair pulled back
POINTE: solid colored leotard, pink or black tights, pointe shoes, wrap-skirt (optional), hair in a SECURED bun
HIP HOP: Street clothing that allows freedom of movement, regular sneakers (for example nike or adidas) *Please make sure that the sneakers you use for hip hop class are NOT worn outside and are ONLY used for class! Also, we will not tolerate any apparel with inappropriate images, quotes, swears, etc. Thank you!*
STRETCH & TONE: Form fitting dance attire, no tights, no shoes
SERENITY GROOVE: Form fitting dance attire, no tights, no shoes
Classes WILL be held during February and April school vacations and ALL Monday and Friday holidays.
The studio will be closed on the following dates:
THANKSGIVING BREAK: November 27th through December 1st
WINTER HOLIDAY VACATION: December 23rdthrough January 5th
ALL PAYMENTS AND FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE & NON-TRANSFERRABLE.
LIABILITY WAIVER FORM
All registered students MUST sign our online liability waiver form in order to participate in any class, workshop or event held at the studio. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must sign a waiver for you.
All students should arrive 10 minutes before the start of class. Please try your very best to always be on time. Late arrivals into class are a distraction to the other students, as well as to your instructor.
New students may be required to fill out paperwork before class and are encouraged to arrive 15-20mins early.
All students MUST check in with reception prior to class.
ABSOLUTELY NO USE OF ELECTRONIC DEVICES WILL BE ALLOWED IN CLASS! ALL electronic devices MUST BE powered down or put on silent to help prevent any distractions during class. Out of respect for your instructor, fellow classmates, and yourself, we ask that you pay close attention to this matter.
Students are expected to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner at all times while participating in RISE Movement Studio's classes, workshops, and other events. In order for us to create a positive, warm, and friendly environment for ALL, students are expected to be respectful of other participants, staff, and guest artists/instructors. No exceptions. Failure to do so will result in an immediate termination from RISE MOVEMENT STUDIO.
